Today I did a blog commenting to Patrick. He did a wonderful job by learning his new words in room 5. It will be better if he learn  hard words and do some dictation like this.

The gift

My uncle gave me a gift for my birthday. The wrapping is made out of stars with a red background.  I think that a toy is going to be inside the gift. When the party is over I rushed to the gift and unpacked. Mum asked “What is inside the box?”

I said “I don’t know because I didn’t open it, but it’s probably going to be a toy.”

Mum gave me permission to open the gift.  Inside the gift is a silky red dress. My uncle knew that I wished to have this for so long!  I jumped around with excitement, and wore it straight away.  “I really like your gift!  Thank you!” I said to my uncle.
