Maths Quick Writes - Problem Solving

As part of our Maths Quick Writes, we wrote a paragraph about Problem solving. This activity includes both maths and writing. This activity helps us to explain what we were doing and also will help us to explain what is problem solving. The tasked helped us a lot to use Rm 5 rubric and work with a critical friends to give a feedback each other. 

Revision Problem Solving - Saruja

Today I learned how to solve a revision problems. I was surprised that I could figure out a revision problem. I think this is going to help us with our tests. I am ready for the next revision problem.

Place Value

This a presentation explaining the information that I know about Place Values. It also shows you the next steps of my learning with place values. 

Online challenges

I have been played online challenges . I try this game and I was little bit hard, but I try my best.  I got 33 scores and I think I did my best. I will try this game again and try to get better hight score.

Word Problem

I created this poster to do word problem. I have to write y own word problem and solve it.  I have done it step by step, because thats the way I learnt it last week.  I was really confused because if I wrote the questions wrong I will get the answer also wrong.  I managed to write the question n correctly and I also to the answer correctly.

Word Problem

Today I made a word prbelm to show all of you how you can solve division in a easy way.  If you get a question first try to split it and division the number that split after that add all the number. If you did this methode you will get the right answer.

Afu- Math DLO

Afu made a DLO about math. This is her first time to make a DLO, because she is a new student for  Room 5.  She explained how she work it out and she show the strategy that she used. She made a clear DLO and she showed it very clearly.

Saruja- Prototec Math

Today  we have to do our basic facts and for my question there were  Multiplication, Division, Plus and Subtraction. I did stage six, because I now I need to word on 10,100 and 1000.  To get everything correct I need to check my answer again and make sure I correct the answer that are wrong. Move to stage seven I need to check all the answer and work little bit hard.

Today we have to do basic facts and for my basic facts I did stage six, but I did 0-10 x table.

10-0 Times Table

Today I did my basic facts, and I did 0-10 times table to see if I did better. I got 2 wrong and rest of them are correct. I think I did well with my X tables. I can do better than this and get everything correct.

Saruja- Blog post comaprisons

Today R5 were making a spreadsheet to show how many blog post we have on our blog. I did well on 2015 because I have got the most blog post in R5. My Google Draw shows 2015 is the highest and 2014 shows the lowest because in 2014 I was new to a digital classroom and I didn't know how to post my completed work on my blog. Than in RM5 I did it well because everyone was teaching me how to put it on my blog.
