Creative Collaboration: Why is it important to learn maths in schools - Evelyn, Tiare, Saruja and Tim

Here is Saruja, Tim, Evelyn and my video. It tells you about maths being important at school. I think maths is very important at school because when we all get older we need to know our maths. In the video it tells you the reasons we think why maths is important in schools. 

Science Planning House

Here is a DLO about our Science Planning House. This include all the things that we used too make the Jaffas ramp. For this activity I worked with June, Mahdia and Tiare. We worked collaboratively to fill up all these questions. We had to answer these question to show other what was fair and what was unfair because some of the Jaffas Ramp was short and long which was really difficult to compare which jaffas went far not not went far. This activity was really fun and it helped us to use the correct Equipment to make our ramp.

Fireworks

My group and I created this DLO to tell the Junior to be safe when they are doing the fireworks. I worked with Mahida, June and Tiare, we worked as a team to put clear safety rules for the fire works. It is very important for all the kids to remember the fire works rules when are going to do it. As big kids we have to teach all the important things for the little kids. If you have some small kids, show this DLO and read it to them. REMEMBER to be SAFE and HAVE FUN!

CARE Awards : Tom Latham

One of our C.A.R.E Award task was to do a Presentation on a respected Leader. Me, Tiare,Evelyn, Tim and Afu decided to do Tom Latham because we think he is a respected leader, and is a great role model.

Here is our DLO about a respected leader. The respected leader that we picked was Richie Mccaw. It gives you information about when he was born who is siblings were and one facts of what we learnt about him.

Vincent Van Gogh

Tiare and I have made a presentation about Vincent Van Gogh. The most important rules for this activity is to no to use Google Draw or Google Slide. So we decided to use Prize. It is very simple and it is looking very interesting. I would like to thank Mrs Anderson for checking our work and helps us to make the photo movie. I hope you like this video too.
