Reading task Create

For our reading we have to a text to read and we have to create a DLO about it. SO I choose task 1 to see if I can do it better. My topic is about cow's attack. I read all the text and I have to create a DLO to tell you all how to keep safe from the cow.  I think this DLO will help you in any situation or any problem with cows.

Saruja and Tiare- Current Events

Today Tiare and I  worked together in Current Events. We choose a artical called KFC or KFRat. This artical is all about that a man order a chicken but he got a rat that fried . I found that it is a rat becasue it has a big long tail. Make sure when you are at KFC check if you are eating the correct and healthy food.

Today I made a word prbelm to show all of you how you can solve division in a easy way.  If you get a question first try to split it and division the number that split after that add all the number. If you did this methode you will get the right answer.

Conversation about Should NZ provide breakfast at school?

Today we were doing some work about breakfast at school. We have to make a conversation with a partner and ask some question and we have to answer their questions. I worked with Evelyn. I asked her lots of question and she answer it. Her opinion was yes, but unfortunately I have to choose no because she choose it and my really opinion was yes. I hope next time I will have a chance to choose yes. 

Saruja- Homework ( Week 3)

For this week homework we have to make a poster about Cook Island language week. I made this poster and I have add information, helpful words and some images. I learnt how to say happy, sun....et in Cook Island Language. I think this poster will help you to understand all about Cook Island And also helps you to learn how to say Happy, Good Morning.... et.

We had a conversation between Tim and I . We have to talk abut Should school provide breakfast to school?  I asked some question and Tim answer it. He game me wonderful answer. I think thsi si a great way to talk each other and tell what we thin.

I did this homework for this week and we have to create a DLO about Maori Famous people.  I chosen this person, because she is a famous actress in Maori. I have add some information and how may awards she won. I think this poster will helps you to understand about Keisha Castle-Hughes. 

Saruja- Maori Language Week

Today we all learnt about Maori Language week. Than we have to create a DLO about it. We had some question on the board and we have to find the answer and write it own words. I made this DLO and It's was little bit hard for me, because I am a Sri Lankan girl, so it was difficult to find information about it. But I try my best to find information. 

Saruja- Scavenger Hunt

For our reading our group red a book about bacteria, than we have to create a DLO about it. This is our DLO about Bacteria and we have to talk about it.  We have to find three letters that start with M in our article. Than we have to make our own sub-heading. This was little bit hard to make our own sub-heading. But I still try my best to find. Bactria is very bad and Stay away from it. 

Saruja- My Persnoal Connection With Hauora

Today we talked about my personal connection with Hauora. Miss Donaldson shared a DLO with us and we have to add all our connection with Hauora.  The connections are Hauora, My connection, My community and My family.  This is also part of culture and religions. 

Saruja- A feature of Complex sentence

Today Miss Donaldson teach us all about complex sentence. After that we have to make a DLO a feature of a complex sentence. I understand all about complex sentence, because Miss Donaldson explained very clearly.  I learn lot of things from Miss Donaldson and I hope you will learn something from this poster.

Saruja- Typing Club

Today I did Typing Club and I did my best.  I did my first typing test in 24s and My second one I did it in 23s.  I got both three thousand points.  To improve My typing I need to type fast and try to do it in 10 or 20 second. But I think I did well and I can improve a lot. 

Saruja- Prototec Math

Today  we have to do our basic facts and for my question there were  Multiplication, Division, Plus and Subtraction. I did stage six, because I now I need to word on 10,100 and 1000.  To get everything correct I need to check my answer again and make sure I correct the answer that are wrong. Move to stage seven I need to check all the answer and work little bit hard.

Today I did my basic facts, and I did 0-10 times table to see if I did better. I got 2 wrong and rest of them are correct. I think I did well with my X tables. I can do better than this and get everything correct.

Saruja, Tim , Tiare and June- Hauora DLO

Today Tim, Tiare, June and I made a DLO about Hauora. We had to put the four meanings about the four walls, we did meanings about Taha Tinana, Taha Hinengaro, Taha Whanua and Taha Wairua. We also did the meaning of Hauora
