Saruja- Design Brief

CONCEPTUAL STATEMENT:
In the context of Healthy Living I will design and produce an Animated Story for Family to be used to to show them that I am care about them.
My digital story does relate to healthy living because my story is about healthy food. My digital story is useful for my target audience because it tall that ice- cream is unhealthy for a grandma.

Command and Feedback
feedback that I received about my digital story included
- I really like your scratch video and your background is very different to the others but other then that it is really good!!!
- This is a great animation so far but you should explain why these foods are not healthy. You should back up your point with fact. Keep it up though!
- Your first few speech marks are too fast, and the ones after that too slow. also, add commas and the person with the orange suit seem to be standing on the shelves.
- I love the background you've chosen. Try make it more interesting by adding sound effects or more characters. Keep up the great learning.
- A few of your speech bubbles are too fast but keep up the good work
- I really like your video on scratch and I want to see more and I really enjoy your scratch video and it looks like you had fun making this scratch video and keep up the great work.
Change I made to my digital story included
- Making the bubbles taking fast.
- Adding interesting sounds.
- Explain why the food are unhealthy.
- Adding more characters.
Final Evaluation
- The way that I feel about my digital story is little bit ok because I didn't add more background and people.
- I could also use Scratch or Create digital stories to make story about Tamaki College and Panmure Bridge school.

Xtarmath
Hi My name is Saruja. This is my xtramath result. I think i did well and i have to do in 1.5s it very fast for me, but i did well. I think I can do better than this time and I will get great rresultnext time. I have 81 question, and I got 66 smiley face, 7 tick and 7 wrong. I think this is my best result I have ever seen.

Saruja- Xtramath trem 4- 15/10/14
This is my xtramath. I think I did well because this is 1.5s and I got 5 wrong and I got lot of smiley faces, and I also did so fast and did some of them are correct. Next time I can do well and better and get lots of smiley faces.

Saruja- Term for Independent writing - My worst mistake
When I was playing football with my brother. I like to kicked the ball very hard, so my brother said to me” play slowly and carefully”. I wasn’t listen to him. I was still playing kicked the ball very hard, and when I hit the ball high it went on the car, so the glasses was broken. When dad came out he saw that. He said to me “ Why did you break it”? I said” it was an accident, so he was angry at me, and he said to me” don’t play football at house”. My dad also said to me that” he have to waste lots of money to repair the glasses for the car”. I said to my” that I made my dad feel sad ,and angry”. My brother said to me” that I already told you don’t kick the ball hard”. I said “ I am sorry”. After that we went to a shop called Posties ( a glass shop). My dad was looking lots of glasses, but he doesn't like them. He saw a new glass and he brought that, and he also got the glass fixed. I asked dad, Are you happy?. He said “ yes I am”.

When Twitchy-Witchy woke up she felt so happy because it was her birthday. The postman came and gave her a price. When she open it . It was a broomstick , but she doesn't know how to use it . Hse a cat it teach her how to fly and she fly happy and fun.

One day there was two children were playing on monkey bars. When Lionel was swings on monkey bars he bag his head. Lionel friend called Mrs. Glass. She asked what happen. Lionel said “ i fall and bang my head. She asked “ do you want to go to and meet the nurse “, but he said “ no it just my tooth came out”. Mrs Glass took him to the nurse . When the nurse check him she said that his tooth came, so she going to give a tooth necklace to him. He felt very happy when he got it. Lionel friend also like to have a tooth necklace like him , so she trying to make her tooth loose. She started to wiggle her tooth so it came little bit. At school when she cover her tooth it came off . She ran to her teacher and said “ my tooth came out” , but Mrs Glass gave a old tooth necklace . But she doesn't feel very happy but took it and went to the classroom.

Figgy Two Sock and Jefferson Bear were friends so they are talking about friends and they play hide and seek and they ate blackberrys and Jefferson Bear was tired so he was sleeping, but Figgy Two Sock went to play a game. Food Glorious Food
Food is often mentioned in stories, or you might like to read a recipe book. Find something that you could cook for your family and make it. Take a photo or write out the recipe and post it onto your blog with a comment that tells you:

INGREDIENTS
6 Fish pieces (White fish or Trevally)
- 1/4 cup grated coconut
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 small onions
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 3 tsp red chilli powder
- Salt to taste,
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- Oil for frying.
METHOD
- Clean the fish pieces well and keep aside.
- Crush the 1 tsp fennel seeds and keep aside.
- Grind the coconut, pearl onions into a fine paste and keep aside.
- Put the fish pieces in a bowl, add the coconut paste, crushed fennel seeds, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt, curry leaves and mix well.
- Marinate this for 1/2 an hour in refrigerator.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, put the fish pieces 2 at a time and keep in medium flame.
- Add oil on sides and Cover cook for 3-5mins.
- Uncover and turn the fish to the other side, add oil on the sides and cover cook for 3mins
- Remove the lid and roast till golden brown and decorate with cilantro
