Saruja-Holiday Reading 6- Friends Forever

Figgy Two Sock and Jefferson Bear were friends so they are talking about friends and they play hide and seek and they ate blackberrys and Jefferson Bear was tired so he was sleeping, but Figgy Two Sock went to play a game.  After that Jefferson Bear woke up and he went to play a game.they were best friends forever .

Rewrite the Ending

My ending is better because they all having a great party after their game. They also having a great day.

Food Glorious Food

Food is often mentioned in stories, or you might like to read a recipe book.  Find something that you could cook for your family and make it.  Take a photo or write out the recipe and post it onto your blog with a comment that tells you:

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Fish pieces (White fish or Trevally)
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste,
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • Oil for frying.

METHOD

  1. Clean the fish pieces well and keep aside.
  2. Crush the 1 tsp fennel seeds and keep aside.
  3. Grind the coconut, pearl onions into a fine paste and keep aside.
  4. Put the fish pieces in a bowl, add the coconut paste, crushed fennel seeds, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt, curry leaves and mix well.
  5. Marinate this for 1/2 an hour in refrigerator.
  6. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, put the fish pieces 2 at a time and keep in medium flame.
  7. Add oil on sides and Cover cook for 3-5mins.
  8. Uncover and turn the fish to the other side, add oil on the sides and cover cook for 3mins
  9. Remove the lid and roast till golden brown and decorate with cilantro

Hi Saruja,
I think your food task looks great! Your 'choose your own' and 're-write the ending' are mixed up. On the 'Choose your own' task, it doesn't explain what your challenge is or anything about it except for the 're-write the end'. Try and fix these mistakes. Keep it up!
